Start Getting Texas State Tournament Twitter Tweets as Text Messages on your Phone!
We will be sending fun tweets leading up to and during the day of the Tournament about cool costumes, reminders about team pictures and DIME store fun things!
And then, we will be tweeting the winners as they are announced live at the Awards Ceremony! Join the fun!
If you have a Twitter account:
Go to your account.
Enable Mobile by going to Settings > Mobile > Then set up your phone.
Then from Home, start following Texas_DI and enable Mobile Notifications.
If you do not have a Twitter account and do not want to create one:
Send: Follow Texas_DI
To: 40404
To stop the tweets:
Send: Stop

Your tweet will be sent to everyone following Texas_DI during the tournament weekend! Show your support!
After you make your donation, you will need to click the Return link on the PayPal page. This will return you to a page where you can enter your tweet!
We will stop collecting tweets on Thursday, April 13 at midnight. They will be inspected for any inappropriate language. If any inappropriate tweet is determined, it will not be tweeted!

Send Pictures from your Phone!
You can send us pictures from your phone via Twitter! We will use these pictures during the Awards Ceremony! Tell your team members, friends and family to take pictures during the mixer and tournament and tweet them to Texas_DI!
All of the pictures will be reviewed to ensure that they are appropriate. If they are not, they will be removed!
If you have a smart phone, the easiest steps are:
Create a Twitter account online and start following Texas_DI.
Enable Mobile by going to Settings > Mobile > Then set up your phone.
Then from Home, start following Texas_DI and enable Mobile Notifications.
Download the official Twitter app for your smart phone and set it up for your account.
Take a picture.
From your Twitter app, tweet the picture to the following mention and hash tag:
@Texas_DI #pics
If you do not have a Twitter account and do not want to create one or you do not have a smart phone or do not want to download the Twitter app, then this might work for you. If you have a phone that can send a picture as a text message, then these steps should work. You may need to consult the official Twitter documentation for your specific phone and service:
